Note(s)後廠一帶在明代有蘇家園，原是萬曆時御史蘇懷愚所建，後歸侍御李模；因李模有恩於祖大壽，所以清初該地得免駐軍。然而該園至清代終夷為菜圃，當地人相沿俗稱「北園」。北園早春菜花極盛，暖風爛漫，一片金黃。
